About Celtic To Country

The show: 'Celtic To Country: The Transatlantic Story™'

For centuries, the Atlantic was never a barrier - it was a bridge. Carried in the hearts of travellers and deep within the wooden bellies of their instruments, the pulse of Celtic music journeyed across thousands of miles of deep blue water. It crossed from the misty docks of Ireland and Scotland, took root in the high hollows of the Appalachians, and carved the trails that gave birth to American Country music. For example, 18th-century Scottish fiddle tune, "Soldier’s Joy" sailed across the Atlantic to become a cornerstone of American roots music - evolving from Old-Time fiddling and Civil War campfires into a foundational classic of modern Country and Bluegrass.

Celtic To Country channels that timeless journey through soaring vocals, virtuosic fiddle playing, driving acoustic guitar, and the heartbeat of a foot-stomping kick box. Through a high-octane setlist of re-imagined classics and spirited anthems, Celtic To Country pairs fiery musicianship with cinematic storytelling - celebrating the songs and tunes that spanned two worlds and the spirit that built a bridge across the sea.

Intimate, romantic, and upbeat, Celtic To Country delivers a virtuosic, story-driven performance crafted to captivate audiences on international stages, theater venues, and luxury cruise ships alike.
